Southern Fried Records finally drops its first label compilation 'Fried and Tested' at the end of the month.

Southern Fried is the label run by Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) which releases everything from disco and latin-tinged house to electrohouse and even straight-up pop. Over the past twelve years, it's put out tracks from artists such as Armand Van Helden, Kurtis Mantronix, Space Cowboy, Cagedbaby, Grandadbob and even Elton John.

'Fried and Tested' follows on from the label's one hundredth release, Cook's Afro-Cuban inspired 'Guaguanco' single, and brings together some of its biggest sellers and recent releases. The double CD includes mixes by Norman Cook under his Mighty Dub Katz guise as well as electro synth-poppers Cagedbaby.
