Belgian techno DJ Marco Bailey follows up ‘Positive Disorder’ [2005] with a mix CD recorded live at Ageha in Tokyo. The eighty-minute CD arrives in May.

Ageha is Tokyo’s biggest and more bizarre club, featuring a swimming pool, a huge main floor with dozens of speakers on the dancefloor and even a secret room with manga porn on the walls. With such a big space to fill, it’s no surprise that the tracklist promises a less minimal, more straight techno-oriented approach than ‘Positive Disorder’ with tracks by Samuel L Sessions, Deetron, Johannes Heil and Q’hey making the cut. ‘The mix doesn’t have just recent tracks like other DJ mixes,” says Bailey. “The tracks are based on the atmosphere. It’s a document of a great party over there. There’s a bit of everything and not a dead moment.” Did Bailey check out the secret room at Ageha on his visit? “No! I didn’t know. I missed it! Next time I'll check it out.”

’Live at Ageha, Tokyo’ tracklist

2. Furry Nipples – Bebisen
3. Samuel L Sessions – Can You Relate (Instrumental Mix)
4. Deetron feat. Paris The Black Fu – The Afterlife
5. Paco Osuna – Crazy

11. Marco Bailey & Redhead – Shading The Freaks
12. Phil Kieran – Skyhook 2
