Def Mix celebrate twenty years in the biz with the first of its all-star all-weekend bashes in London.
Def-Mix crew David Morales,
Frankie Knuckles,
Satoshi Tomiie and
Hector Romero helped defined the sound of New York house back in the eighties and nineties, and this weekend they’re celebrating twenty years of parties with three big events at Turnmills.
Part one happens on Friday with Tomiie and Romero joined by
Tom Stephan and
Pete Heller. Part two on Saturday sees Morales spin with
Norman Jay and
Danny Rampling, who is stepping out of retirement especially for the occasion. Finally, if you’re still standing, Knuckles wraps up the weekend on Sunday with a four-hour set. Monday is a holiday so there's no excuse not to go!
Def Mix will also host similar bashes in
Italy,
Croatia and
Greece this summer. They'll also be back at
Pacha in Ibiza every Saturday from June 9 to Sept 29, 2007.
The Def Mix 20th Anniversary Weekender happens May 4, May 5 and May 6 at Turnmills in London.
