Isolée, My My and Simon Baker feature on the latest label compilation from Playhouse. 'Famous When Dead V' arrives in stores in June.

Ata's Playhouse stable has been putting out its annual label compilation 'Famous When Dead' since 2001. Originally the series was a retrospective collection of recent cuts of the label, but the latest edition breaks with tradition, for the first time including both released and unreleased cuts.

'Famous When Dead V' includes edits of previous releases and remixes from Losoul, Rework, Holger Zilske & Dave DK as well as Roman Flugel's solo project Soylent Green. Tracks from old trancer Pete Lazonby (remember 'Sacred Cycles'?) and Cologne's Max Mohr also make the cut as do tracks from label newcomers Einzelkind and Simon Baker, the latter's white hot single 'Plastik' appears.

New tracks come from visonary Isolée and Berlin minimal house collective My My, who follow up last year's rated 'Songs for the Gentle' longplayer with 'Southern Comfort'.

The album is unmixed but has been programmed and stitched together so that the tracks are still a cohesive fit. It comes in an eye-catching sleeve crafted by Stefan Marx with a free sticker to boot.
