German DJ and party animal Karotte releases a new mix, ‘Karotte’s Kitchen Vol. 1’ this summer.

Karotte has held down residencies at clubs such as U60311 and Cocoon in Frankfurt and Harry Klein in Munich (for whom he mixed ‘Flokati House’ in 2005 with Matthias Tanzmann). He’s also the mind behind the radio ‘Karotte’s Kitchen’ on Sunshine Live in Mannheim, which adds chat and gossip to the usual beat-driven dance radio show formula. Karotte’s debut mix for Alphabet City is named after the radio show, and concentrates on a similar blend of minimal and electro.
