  • German trance kingpin Paul Van Dyk swaps trance for poppier dance fare on his latest album. 'In Between' arrives in August. 'In Between' is the follow-up to Van Dyk's 'Reflections' (2003) and perhaps his most commercial release to date, featuring pop collaborations with vocalists David Byrne from Talking Heads, Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls, Ashley Tomberlin from vocal progressive trance act Luminary, and Wayne Jackson, who sang on Van Dyk's big single 'The Other Side'. "This album is very different from what I've done in the past," says Van Dyk, who pared down the album to seventeen tracks from an original twenty-eight. 'In Between' tracklist 1. Haunted 2. A limited edition version of the album will be available to fans who attend Van Dyk's Central Park gigs in New York on Friday, August 17th and Saturday, August 18th. Paul Van Dyk 'In Between' is released on Mute on August 14, 2007.
