- Steve Lawler makes his way to the U.S and Canada for a nine-date summer tour at the end of this month. Steve Lawler used to be known for spinning the dirty, tougher end of prog, but if you want to know what's on his turntables in 2007, look no further than Viva Music, his digital electrohouse and tech house imprint that's been getting plays and praise from DJs as varied as Tiefschwarz, John Digweed and Luciano. North America dance fans can check out Lawler's new sound and the label's latest wares this month and next when he plays nine dates including stops at his quarterly residencies at Toronto's rave complex Guvernment and Vanguard in L.A. Toronto punters get a double dose with Lawler billed to play the main room as well as a sunrise set on the terrace. To celebrate Lawler's latest North American tour, RA and Viva Music are offering a cut from the 'On The Far Side EP' by Italian electrohouse boffin DJ Remo as a free download to readers.
