- Not much in London stays secret for long, but one of the city’s best kept secrets returns to East London this weekend with Matt John and Agnes behind the dials. LikeThat takes an ad hoc approach to parties, putting on minimal techno events irregularly, and never in the same venue. Their last warehouse party drew a friendly and mixed crowd, and even allowed you to bring your own booze, a phenomenon unheard of in this city since 1992. This time the party is at the cavernous Unit 7 @ Cable Studios, a rising club venue with one of the best soundsystems in the city. If you like Fabric or the T-Bar but want a change of scene and a spot on deck/laptop work out, don’t be shy. Recent LikeThat parties have seen Michal Ho and Dandy Jack behind the decks, and this Saturday is another rare London visitor, Berlin's Matt John from Underl_ne and Perlon, as well as Agnes from Geneva and a live set from Shadi Megallaa. There’s also a LikeThat afterparty planned for deadenders happening at Public Life from 10 a.m.
