New York's DJ tag team Danny Krivit, François K and Joe Claussell bring their legendary Body & Soul party to London.
The Body & Soul parties began as a weekly Sunday afternoon affair back in 1996 at Club Vinyl. The marathon sessions quickly became New York's most famous house party with residents Krivit, Francois K and Clausell uniting music lovers of all stripes with back-to-back sets that melded their individual styles: Claussell’s percussive house tinged with Latin, African and Brazilian rhythms; Krivit's souful house, rare disco and jazz; and Francois K’s new wave, electro and techno. Although no longer a regular fixture on the NYC calendar, Body & Soul events have since been held in Italy, Portugal, Brazil and Japan.
For the London edition of B&S, the party will take place on a Saturday at Canvas with the three DJs manning the decks back to back for nine (count 'em) hours. Unmissable stuff for any true house believer.
