Minimal-pop couple Dapayk & Padberg issue a second longplayer 'Black Beauty'.

Minimal-pop couple Dapayk & Padberg release their second longplayer on Mo’s Ferry. 'Black Beauty' arrives in September.

Techno fans will know Dapayk from his wonky releases as Dapayk Solo and Marek Bois on labels such as Fenou, Rrygular and Mo's Ferry, but he’s also got a pop side, best expressed as Dapayk & Padberg together with girlfriend-cum-vocalist Eva Padberg. The duo first started tinkering in the studio four years ago pairing Worgt's production know-how with Padberg's breathy vocals and deadpan lyrics. First results were the debut album 'Close Up' in 2005, and now comes a follow up, promising to blend experimental pop and minimal grooves with both Worgt and Padberg taking turns on the mic.

Tracklist

01. Doerti
02. Sister
03. Khes
04. Skit:pantomime horse
05. Theiss
06. Black beauty (Album version)

09. Skit: ohh
10. As you please

The album will be released on triple-vinyl and CD with lead single 'Black Beauty' already receiving praise and plays from the likes of Anja Schneider and Matthias Schaffhauser. Following the album's release, Worgt and Padberg will also perform a series of live shows together in October.
