Heavy electro producer Basteroid managed to annoy the local feathered population recording his debut album ‘Upset Ducks’.

Sebastian Riedl aka Basteroid, not only does the striking record sleeves for Cologne label Areal Records, he also makes its bass-heaviest records. Next month Basteroid arrives on home stereos with his debut album ‘Upset Ducks’, which promises to be “a happy mix of trance, funk, rock, gongs and bangs.”

Happy for humans, that is. Half of the record was created in Schaerding in Upper Austria, where the whole duck population got upset by one track on this record, supposedly, thus the title. That’s not to say the rest of the record will be any quieter, but still, those poor duckies…

’Upset Ducks’ tracklist

01. 16 Steps Away from the Stars
02. Jacktales
03. How Not to Play Piano
04. Backstage Ass
05. Attention: Upsets Ducks
06. I Want to 3 4
07. Pulsador de Alarma
08. Alllright
09. Un Dos Windows (CD only)
10. 29 Forever (CD only)

‘Upset Ducks’ will be released on Areal Records on September 17th, 2007.
