Electro icon Felix Da Housecat assumes a new alias, Virgo Blaktro, for his third album. 'Virgo Blaktro and the Movie Disco' is out in October.

Felix's latest album promises to revisit soul and pop music from the eighties and before: “I wanted to go Parliament, I wanted to go Sly And The Family Stone, I wanted to go black Prince," says Felix...er, Virgo. "But at the same time I wanted to go like George Michael and Pet Shop Boys—only them being black, ’cause this stuff is all black-influenced. So I had to do this Blaktro record.”

Lead single from the album 'Something For Porno' arrives on August 29th.

Sat, 14 Jun 2008Think it was over for him the day he collaborated with P Diddy a while ago.

Kittens and thee glitz is still one of my favourite all time electro albums though.

Wed, 02 Jan 2008Nothing against you personally but I'm just curious....why do people read threads about things they don't like?

Beacuse is important to know what people think about different kinds of music.

Sun, 28 Oct 2007I'm just happy some people are still doing house right - lawnchair generals have a new original music cd out and East Coast boogiemen always put out reliable mix comps! I'm not sure why they don't get as much love on this review forum....

It's like driving past a car accident ..... you have to look, even though you don't like it
