  • Why not take two minutes out of your schedule and vote for RA in the BT Music Awards? The BT Digital Music Awards is an awards ceremony celebrating the best music on digital platforms in the UK. Last year we were shortlisted too, but we didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning because we were up against behemoths like MySpace and Last.fm. C'est la vie. But this year things are different; we're competing in our rightful place as Best Online Music Magazine. The competition is Drowned in Sound, I Like Music, NME and This Is Fake DIY, half of which we haven't actually heard of, so we can honestly say we have a shot at winning. What do you think? The catch is that the only way we can win is if you and your mates take a minute to vote for us. Here is the voting form. Other categories include Best Pop Artist, Best Electronic Artist, Best Podcast etc but you don’t have to vote in those categories if you don't want to. Winning would be cool for three reasons: first it would give raving and dance music a bit of legit mainstream cred - these awards will even be shown on the telly, supposedly. Second, we've never actually won anything in our lives so it would give us something impressive to put on the bottom of our emails. Third, it would be really nice to beat the NME, who have been towing the "dance music is dead" line for over a decade now. We can't let them get away with that! Anyhow, if you read and like RA, do us a favour and give us a quick vote. Go on, you know you want to.
