Despite a wobbly start back in June when the police shut down DC-10, Amnesia and Bora Bora on the opening weekend, in the end the 2007 season on the White Isle worked out just fine. Sure, Ibiza Rocks at Manumission got shut down for noise pollution, but hey, that's what happens when you play indie rock. The sun officially sets on clubs on the island on October 8, but if you haven't blown all your money on festival hopping during the summer there's still some great partying to be done with the cream of the closings still to happen. Busiest men on the island will be Villlalobos, Luciano and Hawtin who are headlining one or more of the four big closing parties next week: Uncle Sven's final Cocoon freakshow at Amnesia and its additional carry-on at Cala Llonga beach, Monza's last hurrah at Privilege and Amnesia's closing all-star mini festival. The latter also has a live set from Booka Shade, DJ sets from DJ T, Italian and Spanish techno dons Marco Carola and Paco Osuna and much more. Whew! Don't like techno? Shame on you, but 'We love Sundays' says goodbye to season 2007 with a big room house and electrofest starring 2manyDJs, DJ Hell, David Guetta, Groove Armada's Andy Cato and more.
