There is a new type of tuberculosis being spread throughout clubs. Known as 'clubbers TB', already 58 cases have been reported in Britain and one person has died. It is believed that this is the start of what is to become an epidemic as more cases are expected to be reported in the near future.
Clubbers' TB spreads easily in hot and sweaty climates, making clubs an ideal breeding ground. Transmission of the disease can come through saliva (including sharing drinks), and sharing of bodily fluids.
Symptoms include coughing, weight loss, fever and lethargy
