Live punkfunkers Spektrum are reissuing their last album with a bolted-on remix package. 'Death at the Gymkhana Club' is out next month.

Spektrum specialise in electrifying live shows (think Grace Jones fronting The Rapture), but they know the power of a good remix. After all, it was the big room Tiefschwartz take on their 2003 hit 'Kinda New' ("we all live and die, waaa waaa waaaaa") that brought them to the attention of the world's clubbers. Next month the foursome re-release their second studio album, last year's 'Fun at the Gymkhana Club', along with an extra disc of remixes.

'Death at the Gymkhana Club' includes versions by DJ T., Tom Neville, ex-Haçienda jock Greg Wilson and fellow grrl-fronted electropop act New Young Pony Club. Spektrum will follow it up with a three track EP featuring an exclusive M.A.N.D.Y remix of 'Sugar Bowl', and a UK tour ending at AKA in their native London.
