Electronic pop duo Goldfrapp have announced the release of their fourth studio album Seventh Tree.

Recorded at their studio in the English countryside, Seventh Tree follows up Goldfrapp’s million-seller Supernature from 2005, although the duo warn that the record may not be what fans expect. “It's very different to 'Supernature,' so it might come as a bit of a shock to some of you," say Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory on the band's MySpace page. "We had fun making it and loved doing something that is in complete contrast to the last album, even though sometimes it took a bit of courage to steer as far away as we did on some of the tunes."

The first single from the album, 'A&E', will be released on CD & vinyl on February 11th and available for download on February 3rd.
