  • Italian crunksters Crookers and UNKLE's James Lavelle suit up superhero style for this month's Together night in London. Together's three-pronged bill of live bands, international DJs and local crews has been dishing up everything from Nordic disco to techno at Turnmills every month for almost two years now. The party's also famous for keeping the cash registers at Oxfam ringing via its fancy dress nights that have included game show and military themes as well as RA fave “dress-up-as-your-mum”. This month's theme is superheroes so expect to see plenty of capes, masks and embarrassingly tight lycra. Headlining the main room, renamed Gotham City, is Crookers, who this year have added ravey synths and B'more club on remixes of The Chemical Brothers, Bonde Do Role and Armand Van Helden. Expect them to drop their remix bombs and a spot of baile funk alongside James Lavelle, who takes time off from UNKLE to spin a rare DJ set in London. Also on the bill is Southern Fried's electropop cat Cagedbaby, Leeds tech houser Paul Woolford and Tommy Four Seven, who'll keep the city's villains at bay in room two, aka Smallville. Underpants on the outside all round then. Nov 24 Together, Turnmills, London
