Dutch megaDJ Tiesto is headlining Giant's New Year's Eve bash in Los Angeles.

So big they had to name it twice, Giant Maximus is the circus rave happening in downtown L.A this December 31. The action happens under three big tops with trapeze artists, performers and room for ten thousand gurning L.A club kids. Now that's a lot of chupa chups. Each tent is carefully positioned to block out the sound from the others meaning your night won't be tarnished by the suspect music playing elsewhere. How thoughtful. What to do when all three tents suck? Go for a spin on the really really big ferris wheel, or go buy another chupa chup.

This year organisers have passed over the usual big guns in progressive (they're playing down the road) in favour of big names in trance, house and dance rock with ringmaster Tiesto joined by Roger Sanchez, Kaskade, Robbie Rivera and MSTRKRFT. There's also Arizona's mash-up don Z-Trip, LA Riots and Lazaro Casanova with more names to be announced.
