Secretsundazer Giles Smith kicks off a free monthly party Basic Needs next Thursday at East London hotspot T Bar.
Smith is best known for keeping Londoners up on Sundays via his Secretsundaze rave-ups together with James Priestley. This summer the pair even took the night to the beaches of Barcelona during Sonar.
Over the winter months Smith brings the party back inside with a new weekly Thursday shindig, this time in the intimate setting of uber-trendy drinking hole T Bar. The first guest is Swiss techno producer Serafin, best known for the psychedelic 'Starship Disco' on Liebe Detail as well as releases on Cadenza. He's also one half of The Mountain People DJ/producer collective with Roman Bruder who have had call ups to spin at Weekend in Berlin and Club 11 in Amsterdam. Sounds like a fun night out if you can handle the Friday morning hangover. And did we mention it's free?
