Ministry of Sound opens its doors in 2008 with a back to back set from the Cosmic Twins, AKA Derrick May and Francois K.

May and K picked up their outer space moniker on their first tour together in Japan in 2003, but the name stuck and these days it represents their first-to-last-record tag team sets which swing between Francois' penchant for spacey sounds and effects and May's shrewd ear for rhythms. CT sets typically don't happen very often, but in the last few months the pair have especially revived the partnership with all-night stints behind the decks at the Warehouse Project and Ministry of Sound.

The two soulmates of dance return to MoS as part of May's globetrotting Hi-Tek Soul nights and to launch Francois K's new humbly titled 3CD comp Masterpiece.

Fri, 11 Jan 2008Sawht these guys last year this time. THE FINEST performance ive ever witnessed ( on a par with Jeff Mills ) The music was out of this world. If you've never seen these two together - do yourselves a favour, 'cosmic' indeed! - still i wish it were at the End. Ministry is a dump and i almost got into a fight by minding my own business ( go figure ) luckily the music was of spiritual magnitude...amazing
