Need an excuse to party in Berlin? RA is hosting a special Club Transmediale night with Larry Heard, Moritz Von Oswald, Efdemin, Kalabrese, Andy Stott and more on the bill…

In a special event put together with underground festival Club Transmediale, RA is proud to present a Berlin club night celebrating the past and the future of the two genres of the year: deep house and dub techno. On Feb 1st we’re bringing together two of the legendary originators of these genres, Larry Heard and Moritz von Oswald, with the best of the new guard.

The party happens across two rooms, and both have killer lineups. Golden Groove is a lesson in deep house with Mr. Heard, Efdemin, Kalabrese, Prosumer & Murat Tepeli and more behind the lectern. Meanwhile Silver Reverb is a dub techno showcase featuring a special performance from Moritz Von Oswald (Rhythm & Sound, Basic Channel), who will be debuting a new live project with Vladislav Delay and Max Loderbauer from Sun Electric. Also on the bill is Andy Stott, Claro Intelecto and Pendle Coven from white hot imprint Modern Love. Essential stuff all around.

Sounds like a plan? Come join RA readers at Club Transmediale on the penultimate night of the festival for our first ever party in Berlin. Deep house vs. dub techno. Old school vs. new school. RA vs. CTM! comment 31 Comments

Mon, 04 Feb 2008It was a great night.. only *slight* criticism was that it was at Maria. Would've been better at berghain... but yea musically, it was incredible.
