The most aptly named man in dance music releases his debut artist album Restless next month.

The album arrives a full eight years after Matthias Tanzmann first founded his Moon Harbour label, so it’s been a long time coming, but we forgive him because recently he’s been so busy. These days he’s spinning internationally most weekends, including at residencies in Ibiza (Circo Loco) and Valencia (Le Club), a schedule which no doubt has influenced his busy-busy choice of track titles on Restless such as ‘Keep On’, ‘Redirected’ and ‘Flight Mode’.

The album promises to focus on club tracks across a variety of moods—expect European deep house in the vein of the taster single ’Rugby’ or ‘Keep On’ from Steve Bug’s recent Fabric 37. It arrives in two formats: unmixed on vinyl for DJs and as a CD with extra tracks, mixed by Mr. Danceman himself.

Tracklist

2x12” - Unmixed

A1 Keep On
A2 Swim
B1 Redirected
B2 Hotel Sapporo
C1 Rugby
C2 Love-Shaped Feeling
D1 Crazy Circus
D2 Flight Mode

CD – Mixed by Matthias Tanzmann

02 Flight Mode
03 Kutaisi

05 Keep On
06 Procon
07 Crazy Circus

‘Restless’ by Matthias Tanzmann will be released on Moon Harbour on February 22nd, 2008.
