RBMA 2010 : LONDON

The latest Kitsuné comp branches away from indie to include cuts by Alan Braxe, Rex the Dog and M.I.A. Kitsuné Maison 5 hits stores next month.

The Paris label are perhaps the most stubbornly eclectic of the dance rock imprints, and Kitsuné Maison 5 continues in the same vein with label regulars Digitalism, DatA this time joined by the likes of Alan Braxe, M.I.A and Fischerspooner. Watch out also for the 12-inch release of Fischerspooner’s ‘The Best Revenge’, their first single in yonks, which arrives this month on the label backed by remixes from Alex Gopher and autoKratz.

You can listen to a 15-minute mini-mix of comp here.

Thu, 06 Mar 2008No, not convinced... Disappointing compilation. Cheap sounds. Fischerspooner should try something new once in a while. We heard it all before. Only better...

Tue, 12 Feb 2008dude............ i tried it. the boxing knowledge took some time to learn, but finally, i now appreciate Jazzimal. thank you, you saved me.

icarus10wrote
Mon, 11 Feb 2008Yes, it is wrong to enjoy all '-imal' music. You need to turn your ears off to that crap and listen to jazz dammit!

But to 'get' jazz you'll need a few things:

A few Blue Note records
Trumpet
Belt
Spoon
Syringe
Black tar
Vast knowledge of boxing pre-1963

Then close your eyes and wail away on that trumpet son.
Now that's music!
