Kompakt's Brazilian centreforward brings his live set Down Under for the first time this February.

Boratto's been touring his Chromophobia album for a year now, but he's found novel ways to keep his live jams fresh. He uses a modified Nintendo DS console to record and play back his voice on the fly and he even lays beats from Michael Jackson over the top of original or edited versions of his tracks. “I always layer a 1-bar sample of the beat from ‘Billy Jean.’ It fits perfectly and gives the track just a little extra bump in the club," Boratto told Remixmag of his live rendition of 2006 single 'Like You'.

For his maiden Australian tour, Gui Boratto will play four dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast
