Kraftwerk, Portishead, Sasha & Digweed and Justice are some of the big names headlining this year’s fest in the desert. Tickets go on sale from January 25th.

This year’s lineup was announced at a press conference in Mexico, and features headlining slots from Kraftwerk, Portishead and Roger Waters. Waters will be performing Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety on the last night of the festival.

The lineup is heavier than previous years on electronic and dance, with a strong emphasis on Ed Banger, dance rock and B-more club. Confirmed acts include Fatboy Slim, Aesop Rock, Spank Rock, Diplo, Busy P, Cut Copy and Modeselektor on the Friday, Sasha and Digweed, M.I.A., Hot Chip, Boyz Noise, Junkie XL, James Zabiela, Sebastian, Kavinsky, Dredg, The Bird and the Bee, New Young Pony Club, Cinematic Orchestra, Erol Alkan and Bondo Do Role on the Saturday, and Justice, The Streets, Danny Tenaglia, Simian Mobile Disco, Booka Shade, Dimitri From Paris, The Field and A-Trak on the Sunday.

Check RA events details for the full three-day lineup. comment 21 Comments

Thu, 10 Apr 2008Coachella pretty much has just destroyed EVERY FESTIVAL this year with the addition of Prince. How? That addition just gave more diversity to an 'already' insane line-up..........it is crazy.

If Coachella can grab........U2.....or Rolling Stones.......or Amy Winehouse, then India will rock something wild.
