  • The Chemical Brothers, Justin Timberlake and Benassi sweep the dance music awards. Before the long and (mostly) boring telecast on Sunday night, Grammys were presented for the best electronic music of 2007. According to the Recording Academy, at least, Justin Timberlake’s ‘Lovestoned/I Think She Knows’ was the Best Dance Recording of 2008, beating out Mika’s ‘Love Today’ and Justice’s ‘D.A.N.C.E.’ Meanwhile, UK big-beaters The Chemical Brothers recorded the finest dance album of the year with We Are the Night, beating out Tiësto's Elements of Life, Justice's and LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver Carl Craig, who turned down a gig at Berlin’s famed Berghain to attend the ceremony, was nominated for his remix of the Junior Boys 'Like a Child', but was fated to remain in his seat all night, losing out to electroclash survivor Benny Benassi's take on Public Enemy’s ‘Bring the Noise’.
