Freerange boss Jimpster issues a remix compilation Selected Remixes 2004 - 2008 at the end of the month.
Jimpster, aka Jamie Odell, has dabbled in future jazz, broken beat and even improvised house as part of live act The Bays. Along the way he's also built up a lengthy remix CV recasting the likes of Wahoo's George Levin, Ken Ishii and West Coast house diva Lisa Shaw.
On disc one of Selected Remixes..., Odell mixes up thirteen past and current reworks including his takes on Akabu's 'I'm not afraid of the Future', Delano Smith's 'Message for the DJ' and Joris Voorn's 'The Deep'. Eleven of the remixes also appear on a second unmixed disc for DJs that missed them the first time around.
