Peace Division, aka London house pair Justin Drake and Clive Henry, pick out the records on the next
Coast2Coast mix due out in August.
Marrying Henry's ear for a tight groove and Drake's studio know-how, Peace Division have dabbled in various strains of house, from tribal to tech, since the mid-nineties. More recently, their new project The Lab on Tsuba has recently found them courting deep minimal.
Coast2Coast is the pair's first commercial mix in almost five years and shows plenty of respect for Euro house names off the usual radar such as Nick Curly, Agnes, Alex Attias and Afrilounge. Like past C2C mixes the compilation arrives as a 2CD set with both mixed and unmixed discs.
