New York's tribal house king Danny Tenaglia unwraps a new mix Futurism this summer.

Tenaglia's a stickler for marathon DJ sets, think nine hours and counting, and as a result he's shied away from shorter, commercial mix CDs for the last six years.

New mix Futurism arrives as a meagre 2CD set featuring tracks by GummiHz, Davide Squillace, Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts and Joris Voorn with Tenaglia’s trademark stash of samples.

"If you think of the word 'techno,' it’s just short for technology," says Tenaglia of his newest love. "What was Kraftwerk doing? What was Larry Levan doing up in the booth, with reel-to-reel and reverb? They were being experimental."

Both discs close on DT's new single 'The Space Dance'.
