  • Synthy techno specialist Aril Brikha brings his live show to Cocoliche this Friday. Stockholm based artist Brikha dropped off the radar for a while, following earlier releases on seminal Detroit label Transmat and its sister label Fragile Records. After a seven-year hiatus, Aril returned to the production desk last year to sign records to Poker Flat, Peacefrog and Kompakt. "The funny thing is that Aril is coming to Cocoliche because last year he played for a big festival here in Buenos Aires, and after that he came to the club just to party,” says Cocoliche owner and resident DJ Udolph. “I met him, I found him a very funny and nice guy so after talking a while we exchanged contacts to make this gig real.” “It's not the same to play at a rave tent for 10,000 were you see people from a long distance. I like Aril's mixture between house and techno, his trippy sound. Bringing that to a small club like Cocoliche its even more fun." Providing DJ support on the night are Juan Deb and Udolph. Leave the glowsticks at home for this one.
