Permanent Vacation release a new compilation titled Space Oddities: A Compilation of Rare European Library Grooves from 1977 – 1984 later this month.

Compiled by French DJs Alexis Le-Tan and Jess, the collection compiles funky and freaky music from films, TV series and commercials from the period.

Le-Tan, a music journalist, and Jess, formerly of house duo Jess & Crabbe, worked for more than five years to put the compilation together, collecting rare grooves that had been previously thought lost to time. And, if our eyes don't deceive us, it even includes a cut from the Black Devil Disco Club man himself, Bernard Fevre. Count on the promised thorough sleeve notes and information on each cut to confirm or deny.
