The Warehouse Project has announced its lineup for the 2008 season, promising more than 30 parties over 14 weeks beneath Piccadilly Train Station.

While each party will of course have its own vibe, the series will bring a whole mess of them to Manchester throughout the fall. From grime (Dizzee Rascal) to electrohouse (Deadmau5) to Detroit techno (Jeff Mills) to prog house (Sasha) to disco (Hercules & Love Affair Live) to indie (Black Kids) to minimal (Luciano), it should be a whirlwind 14 weeks. Sad news, though: this will be the last time that The Warehouse is held at Store Street, as development plans will preclude the event from being held there in 2009.

Tickets will be available on RA starting late next week, but if you're feeling lucky we'll also be having competitions later in the year to grab tickets to certain events.

Fri, 01 Aug 2008I for one am definitely not a hater of the WHP, theres just aspects of it that I don't like. You can't take away what it does for the Manc scene, and to be honest it's given these smaller nights a platform to build from. I'm not dissin the lineups either, being a big venue it needs to appeal to the masses and thats exactly what it does.

My gripes are the fact it's full of people that aren't really there for the music, just for the night out. Theres nothing wrong with this, it's more about... More
