- Pacha NYC was closed last weekend after a lengthy police operation to uncover drug use and distribution at the club. Undercover officers bought drugs for nearly 12 months before building up enough of a case to close the club, reports The New York Daily News. In a case of peculiar timing, however, the club closed immediately prior to throwing one of its largest parties of the year, in conjunction with New York's Gay Pride Weekend. The club's owners have been scrambling to get the doors back open and insider sources promise that they will—in plenty of time for Hernan Cattaneo's Pacha NYC debut on Friday night.
