Jay Haze is pulling a Radiohead. The controversial producer is now allowing fans to download the second disc of his new album, Love & Beyond.

While Haze's three-disc set was originally set to hit stores in April, the producer stopped short at the last minute. "I recently realized that I wanted the absolute shortest distance between my soul and your ears. So, the spirit of the album's theme of LOVE, I have decided to skip the physical release and give away the album online," he writes on his website. Composed of 12 "futuresoul and R&B" cuts, this record may not be the normal fare for most RA readers, but with prices this low, why not? Besides, everyone needs to hear Jay Haze rap at least once in their life.

If you like what you hear, Haze is offering up the chance to donate to his PayPal account. But, then again, how can you put a price tag on love?

Last spring Jay kicked off the first part of his new album trilogy
'Love & Beyond', with 'raging tech-house beats that seem to never end
(in the best way)' (XLR8R). In the summer, he offered the second
installment as a free download, this time focusing on R&B grooves
rather than the dancefloor. Now, Jay concludes his MPD... More

Sun, 06 Jul 2008Everybody should be giving music away for free, after all, they still charge when one goes to their presentations(and i paid a good 20 dlls bill for listening to a jay haze´s dj set here in juarez, mx)
and would not go to any of his presentations if i had not listen to his work before.

Fri, 04 Jul 2008@crackle - yes Vikter Duplaix. I'm not talking about his commercial stuff. Check out his work with Jazzanova, King Britt/Scuba his DJ Kicks. It urinates on that Haze album from a great height. There is a reason Haze has to give this album away.
