Jacopo Carreras will release his debut album, and Lan Muzic's debut artist album, in September.
Entitled From Bed to Couch , the album is composed almost solely from software that Carreras himself built. The former aeronautical engineering student is a bit of an egghead when it comes to music production. (So much so, in fact, that he will be offering some of these software patches to fans as a bonus on the CD version of the album.)
But what does it sound like? Hard to summarize, really. Carreras is certainly not shy about his love of techno, which can be heard throughout, most notably on the epic ten-minute 'Manky', but there are also touches of rock ('Rox Tox') and a few experimental moments that recall the likes of Mouse on Mars ('Gamoolosi', 'Schi-is').
