Producer Niklas Worgt, AKA
Dapayk Solo, will release his fifth album in September.
Worgt, whose career began in the mid-'90s in the fledgling German drum 'n' bass and breakbeat scene, has worked under a variety of aliases, but Dapayk Solo has been one of his steadiest gigs of late, aside from his quirky collaborative project with Eva Padberg and his minimal-styled tracks under the name Marek Bois.
Devil's House, the new record which will see release in September, hearkens back to his original inspiration, taking what he claims are "breakbeat-like rhythm[s], captivating lead sounds and tinkered sound structures without losing [its] focus [on] the dancefloor."
To prove its dancefloor potential, Worgt will be hitting the live circuit in Europe throughout October and November.
