  • Berlin welcomes Asia image
  • Hans Nieswandt and Losoul will be sharing the decks at the Killekill club next week with some unlikely collaborators: As part of the Asian-Pacific Plate program, DJs and producers from Jakarta, Manila, Hanoi, and more will be joining the fun. In traveling in Southeast Asia last year as part of a Goethe Institut-funded venture, Hans Nieswandt made connections with many of the artists. Thus began the program, where the artists came to Germany to collaborate with producers such as Turner, Trickski, and Geheimmänner. This Berlin show marks one of the few chances that punters will get to see the artist collaborate in real-time, however, as Jakarta's Goodnight Electric and Turner; Sydney's Jamie Lloyd and Tricksi; and Manila's Rubber Inc and Geheimmänner will each stage a live performance together throughout the night. Also performing will be Tri Minh, Ray-Soo, Xhin, and Phil Brökelmann.
