Marco Bernardi will return this September as
Octogen to release
Gindofask on Soma Records.
Bernardi's debut under the Octogen alias,
2fiveonine was a critically adored collection of Detroit-by-way-of-Glasgow techno, electro, and electronica. Bernardi promises more of the same on
Gindofask, which is being billed as a "clear progression to its predecessor." "Wonky funk" and "soulful Detroit" are phrases also being bandied about in reference to the album and, judging by the sound clips on MySpace already on offer, we can't help but agree.
