Croatian-based producer Petar Dundov will release his second album later this month.
Entitled Escapements, the album is a minimal one, but not in the way that you might think. Instead, Dundov has embraced a sort of melodic minimalism that at times recalls the organ work of Philip Glass, rather than any sort of electronic producer currently working today. It's classical, eminently composed and often fascinating. Track titles like "Rain," "Oasis" and "Sparkling Stars" may tell you all you need to know about the placid proceedings of this Detroit techno-influenced record.
For more on the album, you can take a gander at a video on a site that Dundov's label, Music Man, has set up here.
