  • Avant disco hero Arthur Russell will see even more of his voluminous archives released in October. Russell has seen a renewal of interest in the past few years due to the work of Audika Records, which has taken up the challenge of packaging and releasing the studio albums, experiments, demos and just about anything else that the producer worked on throughout his life. Love Is Overtaking Me isn't electronic per se, though. In fact, the label is billing it as "a 21-track compilation of demos and home recordings that will showcase Russell’s love for pop, folk and country." In other Russell news, the Matt Wolf's documentary about the producer, Wild Combination, will see release in November. Tracklist 01. Close My Eyes 02. Goodbye Old Paint 03. Maybe She 04.
