Inclement weather foils partygoers once again.
The seas will not be alive with the sound of music this weekend, as Saturday's Pig & Dan boat party has been canceled due to the threat of inclement weather caused by Hurricane Hannah.
Outdoor events have a long history of struggling through rain-soaked days and nights, but there's not much you can do when you have a Hurricane coming and a boat party on tap. That's why the Coast Guard has shut down Blk|Market Membership, Bar13 and Ku-Deta plans to host Pig & Dan this weekend. It's just the latest in a line of frustrating setbacks for the Blk|Market crew, which has seen Andrew Weatherall get denied a visa at the last minute and Ivan Smagghe cancel due to health problems in recent months.
We're guessing the promoters are planning make-up dates for each and every one of the guests, but in the meantime, they've got another boat party planned in two weeks featuring Three, Jamie Jones, Matt Tolfrey and Marc Ashken.
