Model 500, Laurent Garnier and Moritz von Oswald Trio play the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival this October.

Now in its seventh year, the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival is taking over the city's venues again, to showcase a veritable smorgasbord of electronic music and visual art. As well as being one of the first places that you can see Matt Wolf's Wild Combination - A Portrait of Arthur Russell documentary, there's a great techno line-up spread across the entire weekend.

Thursday night sees Underground Resistance's Santiago Salazar man the decks at Twisted Pepper, followed by a live performance from his Detroit homeboy, Ultradyne. The following night sees you spoilt for choice, as Daedalus, Steinski, Regis, John Daly and Chymera compete for your attendance, but the line-up for the closing party on Sunday takes the biscuit. Both Model 500 and the Moritz Von Oswald Trio (featuring Moritz alongside n.s.i.'s Max Loderbauer and Sasu Ripatti in his Vladislav Delay guise) play live, while dubstep and electro fans will be pleased to see that Chef and Point B both playing sets. Laurent Garnier may also actually turn up this time, so if you missed him at Bestival and want to see him this year without having to travel to Brazil, this may be your only chance.
