Italic's indie house wonder Popnoname will release his second full-length later this month.
Titled Surrounded by Weather, the album sees Jens Uwe Beyer continuing on his road of house/pop/whatever music. Hard to categorize neatly, it's an album that uses electronic music as a jumping off point, taking in elements of shoegaze, glam and myriad other genres into a stew that tastes a lot like Popnoname. The plodding electro pop number "Touch," which memorably features Beyer's cooing voice providing back-up to himself throughout, is due to be the first single from the album and will feature remixes from The Field and Tennishero.
