seOne, the home to M_nus's upcoming
Contakt showcase, was the scene of another London shooting early on Sunday morning.
Police were summoned to the southeast London club at 5:40 AM after reports of a shot being fired. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead hours later. Scheduled to perform that evening at the club was Kenny Dope, who canceled due to illness. Despite the night's events, photos can be seen
here of revelers enjoying themselves. Reportedly, there have been no arrests made in the case, and police have said "that they are keeping an open mind as to any motive to the shooting at this time."
The shooting follows in the wake of an incident in July outside of
Unit 7, which has seen that club closed for months in its aftermath. RA could not reach anyone at seOne for comment about the upcoming Contakt showcase, but the event is still listed on the
venue's website and is presumably still set to go on.
