  • Scottish post-rockers Mogwai are rounding off their UK tour with a mammoth party at The Arches in London. Fans who’ve checked out the DJ mixes that they’ve done for Radio 1’s The Breezeblock will know that the band are big fans of acid house and techno, and they’ve taken it upon themselves to throw a right old shindig with some of their favourite electronic acts. Taking place on October 24th after their gig at the Hammersmith Apollo, the party will see the band themselves take to the decks, supported by their specially hand picked line-up. Border Community have a big presence on the bill with appearances being made by both Nathan Fake and James Holden, whilst Kieran Hebden will forego one of his usual live sets to give us a Four Tet DJ set (as seen on his RA podcast). Other live acts that are getting in on the DJing action are Errors (who are signed to Mogwai’s own Rock Action label), Caribou and Bristolian noiseniks Fuck Buttons. Tickets are available now, and can be purchased directly from Resident Advisor at the event link below.
