The initial lineup for Mutek Mexico's fifth edition has been released.
The festival, which is yet another branch of the famed Montreal electronic music and digital creativity event, has secured the talents of European techno bigwigs like
Anja Schneider,
Mathias Kaden,
Wighnomy Brothers and Alva Noto; former Canadians that have made the move across the pond such as
Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts and
Deadbeat; and native Mexican artists Metrika, Estructuras De La Tarde and Nortec Sound Collective. While no details have yet been released as to venues, showcases, panels and the like, with a lineup like this planned, we can't help but guess that this is all going to be sorted out sooner than you can book your ticket to Mexico City.
