Winter Music Conference 2010

The Berlin club owners that brought you Weekend have opened a new venue in the capital city: Badlands.

The raw and live-focused venue will continue in the afterglow of its late September Roman Flügel and Superpitcher opening this weekend with two Popkomm events that will be sure to show off the new space. First up, on Friday, will be Rex The Dog who will be celebrating the release of his new album The Rex The Dog Show with support coming from DJ Coolof and the oft controversial Matt Sims. Closing the weekend out on Saturday will be Kitsuné Music's Jerry Bouthier, Mark Moore and HK119 (live). With a slightly larger dancefloor space than the venerable Weekend, expect things to get hopping a bit earlier and for a bit longer than its sister club.
