Finger Lickin' will celebrate ten years of breaks later this month with the aptly titled limited edition three CD compilation 10 Years of Finger Lickin'.
The imprint that brought you "A Plump Night Out," and "Eargasm," among other breaks goodies has been ruling the scene for more than a decade now. With a lineup that boasts Plump DJs, Krafty Kuts, Soul Of Man, Lee Coombs and more it's not hard to see why. These guys are among the best at doing that mish-mash of hip-hop, funk, house and whatever else they throw into the stew.
To mark the occasion, the label's going the past, present, future route: The first disc one is titled "Vinyl Vaults," the second "Classic Cuts" and the final one "Future Funk." Along the way, you'll hear songs that influenced, defined and are forthcoming from the same stable of artists that has made the label so successful—all mixed up by label head Soul of Man.
