Def Mix man Satoshi Tomiie will return to Renaissance early next month.

The celebrated Japanese-born DJ will continue his love affair with everything deep on Renaissance: The Masters Series - Satoshi Tomiie, a two CD mix that takes in Jimpster, Motorcitysoul, Marc Romboy, Lee Jones and more. Per usual Tomiie helps keep the mix going strong with his own additional production flourishes. He plays keys on the opening track and adds loops and FX throughout the mix. Included on the mix? The producer's new single under his Mes alias, "Madrugada," which kicks things off on the second disc.

Fri, 26 Dec 2008I dunno how it wasn't rated 5/5. I love this dark almost ambient house he plays. So dreamy and haunting!

Sun, 16 Nov 2008This comp pretty much deserves full marks from me. I find it equally on par with his last comp, which at times could be a little suffocating. The programming is flawless, too.
